Assistance with Ansys Log Files

Hi,

I need assistance with manually exporting a log file from the Ansys Licensing Server application to identify users and hosts connected to all modules for the last year.  Please advise.

Hi,

Launch your Ansys License Manager> Under Reporting click on "View License Usage History"> select custom date and enter your preferred start and end date> hit on generate it will create a log file.

Thanks for your reply.
We need an actual physical license usage .log file for all users and product feature connections as a download for the last year.  Your instruction only provide a GUI report for 1 individual or product feature at a time.  Is there a way to do this?

Hi,

You can have multiple users but only one increment using above method, to view all the details go under "C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing" and look for logs_backup folder for all previous logs. If you need more help contact your Account Manager.
