SubscriberI have compiled Ansys subroutine to use for a transient thermal model that I am trying to run. To access the subroutine, I set the ANS_USER_PATH pointing to the directory I have my libraries in. When I try to solve my model, I get "An error occurred while starting the solver module. Please refer to the Troubleshooting section in the Ansys Mechanical User Guide for more information". This only happens when I have ANS_USER_PATH set. Even if the directory is empty, I get this error. It seems to be happening during pre-processing before the analysis even begins, once Ansys sets the ANS_USER_PATH.
Based on the troubleshooting:
- I believe I have enough memory since I am able to run similar sized models without ANS_USER_PATH set.
- I have more than enough storage on my drive.
- I have uninstalled and reinstalled Ansys 25 R1 to no avail.
- I am running all the models on my C drive.
- I have tried placing my subroutines in different locations, such as in the C: folder, the Program Files folder, even my desktop.
The compiled subroutines works on all other computers as well so I don't believe it's a compiling issue.Â
