Make Polyhedra in Fluent

In FLUENT, it's possible to convert non-hexahedral meshes (such as tetrahedral or pyramidal meshes) into polyhedral meshes. However, how do we handle geometric wedge-shaped problems?

Yes, but it's only really effective on tet meshes. I've not tried recently, but think tri-prisms were converted into poly prisms at one point. Given we can create poly mesh in Fluent Meshing the conversion functions haven't been needed for 3-4 years.

Okay, but regarding the issue of sharp corners in geometry models in ANSYS, I asked GPT about it, and it said there are algorithms for smoothing such corners. Is that correct? I mean that the mesh might have problems at the geometric edges and corners.

There are some functions/mesh setting that can remove geometry features, but if you're meshing clean CAD with adequate resolution I'd not expect much difference.
