I checked the Workbench LS-DYNA (2024R2) and when the "Orthotropic Stress Limit" is selected in the Engineering Data application, no keyword file is written in the input file to reflect this selection. So my suggestion is to use one of the options under the Failure branch (screenshot below) such as the Principal Stress Failure where you can input the stress at failure and as a result, the *MAT_ADD_ EROSION card is automatically written to the input file that will consider failure. If your material is composite and needs to consider direction-dependency, select one of the composites models under the LSDYNA External Model - MAT branch (screen shot below) such as the *MAT_COMPOSITE_FAILURE_SOLID model.
I'm a bit confused about your point of setting the yield stress but if your material is ductile like a metal and shows plastic deformation, you can look into one of the options under the "Plasticity" branch.
