Adaptive Crack-Initiation and Propagation

This lesson demonstrates the process of simulating the initiation and propagation of two cracks under quasi-static loading conditions using the Separating Morphing and Adaptive Remeshing Technique (S.M.A.R.T.). The objective is to provide a practical understanding of how this technique can be applied to analyze and predict crack behavior under slowly monotonically increasing load. The lesson will cover the necessary steps and considerations for setting up and running the simulation, as well as interpreting the results.
