Vectors I - Lesson 2

In this lesson, the total mass and the force of the body will be introduced as the continuous functions of the position of the coordinates of the various points in the body. Mass density and gravity are the continuous functions of the position integrated over the elemental volume.

In addition, the three main components of continuum mechanics are introduced. These include:

1. Kinematics
2. Balance laws
3. Constitutive laws
