The Current Sourced Wave Equations - Lesson 3

Alternate video link.

This lesson demonstrates how we can sometimes use a geometrically simple magnetic current (even though a magnetic current does not exist) as a mathematically expedient stand-in for a (geometrically) more complicated electric current in our calculations. We learn how a combination of Faraday’s law, Ampere’s law, Gauss’s law and the solenoidal law can be used to derive current-sourced wave equations for electric and magnetic fields.
