Creating a Compound Element

Compound elements are used to group elements so that they function as a single element. In this video lesson, you will learn how to create a compound element in Ansys Lumerical INTERCONNECT.

Demo

The following video will demonstrate how to group elements into a compound element, and also how to use the setup script of the compound element to parameterize the custom model.  The demonstration will start with the ring modulator simulation file which was set up in the Frequency Domain Simulations section of the course.
