Deriving Performance Indices – Lesson 2

As we saw in Lesson 1, performance indices are identified by using the function, constraints, and objectives from the Translation step of the materials selection methodology.

Each of these steps identifies an expression of interest that is combined to get a performance index.

In this lesson, we will go through a case example of how to derive a performance index for a given function, constraint, and objective.
