How to Extrude and Transform the Volume Mesh — Lesson 4

To perform mesh transformation operations post-volume mesh generation, additional tasks can be inserted into the workflow when using the Ansys Fluent Meshing watertight geometry workflow.  A discussion on these tasks (i.e., Extrude Volume Mesh and Transform Volume Mesh) is the focus of this lesson. The Extrude Volume Mesh task can be used to create an extruded region by extending selected boundary surfaces beyond the extents of the original computational domain. The Transform Volume Mesh task can be used to rotate or shift the original volume mesh, creating copies while doing so.
