The Strong and Weak Forms - Lesson 1

This lesson starts with a discussion on Linear Elastodynamics in 3D and in particular Hyperbolic Linear PDEs in Vector Unknowns are discussed. Earlier problems were discussing linear elasticity in steady-state but here the problem is exposed to variation with time. The equation for elastodynamics is second-order PDE in time. The boundary conditions used are time-dependent boundary conditions and initial conditions are applied to generate a weak form.
