High-fidelity Simulation of the Bike Crank Design

Once the final design is chosen, we can perform a high-fidelity simulation. This is to get accurate results and verify that the model would perform as expected and satisfy the design constrains. Here you will learn how to set up such a simulation. In particular, you will explore what a computational mesh is and how to set parameters to control the cell size. The results will let us determine the performance of the bike crank design.

Now that you have completed the full analysis, it is your turn. Modify the design by changing the shape or the materials used and explore how the new design would perform.
