During a race, a vehicle may roll over or experience bumps and vibrations. To make sure the roll cage is stiff enough to successfully withstand such conditions without breaking, FEA analysis of the roll cage in different scenarios is required.

In this video, you will learn to carry out roll-over, rear impact and torsional tests of the chassis in Ansys Mechanical. The aim is to find out the resulting stress and deformation due to various impacts on the chassis.
