Setup & Tips
The following video demonstrates the setup of a movie monitor in a simulation file containing a photonic crystal cavity structure composed of a slab with a pattern of holes etched in a hexagonal pattern around the center of the cavity.
If you want to follow along with this demonstration, please download the associated script file. Open the script file using Lumerical FDTD and run the script from the script file editor window. This will set up the objects in the simulation file so they match the starting point of the demonstration.
