A spring is an elastic element used to store mechanical energy which retains its original shape after a force is removed. Springs are typically defined in a stress free or “unloaded” state. This means that no loading conditions exist unless preloading is specified, which creates an initial “loaded” state. Springs connect two bodies together, which connects them and transfers the load from one body to the other. Longitudinal or torsional springs generate a force that depends on displacement or rotation, respectively.

Please refer to this documentation to understand how you can set up a longitudinal spring connection, in detail: Specifying a Longitudinal Spring

Please refer to this documentation to understand how you can set up a torsional spring connection, in detail: Specifying a Torsional Spring

["post-182304","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry","topic-tag-connection","topic-tag-elastic-element","topic-tag-force-removal","topic-tag-force-rotation","topic-tag-force-displacement","topic-tag-load-transfer","topic-tag-loaded-state","topic-tag-longitudinal-springs","topic-tag-mechanical-energy-storage","topic-tag-original-shape-retention","topic-tag-preloading","topic-tag-spring","topic-tag-spring-conncetion","topic-tag-sprint-element","topic-tag-stress-free-state","topic-tag-suspension","topic-tag-torsional-springs","topic-tag-unloaded-state","filter-by-application-discovery","filter-by-application-discovery-explore","filter-by-application-discovery-model","filter-by-application-discovery-refine","filter-by-application-discovery-spaceclaim
[{"0":
1715835803:77057
77057
2024-05-16
Lumerical
field_64fb192ba3121

field_64a80903c8e15

field_64a809229a857

field_63ecbffce60db

field_63ecc018e60dc

field_64c77704499dd

field_64c776cb4fd2e
159543
182304
23.11.229.158
0
182305
2024-05-16 04:13:14
0
0
0
60"],"_yoast_wpseo_estimated-reading-time-minutes":["1
4686
1
["GET
