Typically, to use \u201cPreview Mesh Motion\u201d for a Moving\/Dynamic Mesh (MDM) case in ANSYS Fluent, you first use \u201cDisplay Mesh\u201d to select the surfaces to show. With ANSYS Fluent 18.0 new display objects were introduced that can be accessed from the tree. Using these new display objects for the mesh can give unexpected results for previewing the MDM mesh motion. \u201cPreview Mesh Motion\u201d always uses the settings of the legacy \u201cDisplay Mesh\u201d that can be accessed from the ribbon \u201cSetting Up Domain\u201d or from the tree \u201cResults > Graphics > Mesh\u201d.
