This can be done using following procedure. 1) Bring the mesh into Fluent 2) ‘Initialize’ the flow (method doesn’t matter, this just activates the file write ability) 3) Go to ‘File->Write->Solution Data’ 4) Set the ‘file type’ to ASCII 5) Select the surface(s) you want, or just the entire cell zone(s) 6) Select the x, y, and z coordinates from the list of ‘quantities’ 7) Read this ASCII file into excel and save as .csv Please see attached video for procedure.
