To have a completely internal assembly, after you import parts from a library, right click at the top of the structure tree, SpaceClaim also allows you to have 1 file for the assembly, and separate files for the parts. This is called an external assembly. If you want to share the design, you have to share the file for the assembly, and the files for all the parts. This is useful for PLM or if you want the same part in different designs to be the same when you change 1. http:\/\/www.spaceclaim.com\/en\/Support\/Tutorials\/Modules.aspx As a starting point, please check out the first tutorial on the above page for a tutorial on the structure tree where you control what is external and external.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-170964","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry","topic-tag-4422","topic-tag-ansys-spaceclaim-directmodeler","topic-tag-fluid-dynamics","topic-tag-preprocessing-geometry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t<!-- All in One SEO 4.9.10 - aioseo.com -->\n\t<meta name=\"description\" content=\"SpaceClaim allows you to either have 1 file that contains all the parts, whether they are in a library or not.
