Electronics Desktop recognizes two user-configurable library structures, called the User Library and the Personal Library.  A root library directory is set up at installation. If none is specified, the default is the root Electronics Desktop directory. Standard materials definitions are stored in system library as Materials.amat file. The default location of the library is C:Program FilesAnsysEMAnsysEM<version>Win64syslib. To make user defined material library available, place the *amat file in either PersonalLib or userlib and specify the locations of the libraries in Options>General Options > Directories.
