Bellows can be modelled between solid pipes using multiple spring elements. The procedure is explained below. 1.Split the faces which connect to the bellow. (minimum 3 required for stability) 2.Create similar mesh between the faces which connect to the bellow. 3.Connect the faces using spring elements 4.Enter spring stiffness (bellow axial stiffness\/no. of springs) 5.Couple the radial degrees of freedom of the faces- use apdl commands <\/p>\n
