No. All Named Selections defined in Mechanical are written to the dlnamedselections.asc file. You cannot write a subset of them. DesignLife reads that file and creates internal Groups that can be used to segregate the FE model for downstream processing. dlnamedselections.asc is a text file. If it is large, it can take considerable time to read it and create the internal Groups.
