Error message is &#8220;Access to the path &#8220;X:&#8230;.&#8221; is denied&#8221;."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This issue was there in ANSYS Workbench 14.5.x and resolved in next release.  ** If this issue is faced in other ANSYS versions, same solutions can be used.**  Here is a workaround that should allow the saving of the project:  1. Ensure all component windows (Mechanical, FEModeler, DesignModeler, etc.) are closed and that only the main Workbench window is open 2. Open a task manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) 3. Switch to the &#8216;Processes&#8217; tab 4. Look for &#8216;AnsysWBU.exe&#8217; process 5. Be sure they are not associated with an active instance of a Workbench component (see step 1) 6. Right-click on the process\/processes and choose &#8216;End Process&#8217; 7.
