Flow animations can help decipher the transient physics of free surface flows or volume of fluid (VOF) simulations. Two options are available in ANSYS Fluent for creating flow animations: 1. Using Animations Sequences available under Calculation Activities > Solution Animations 2. Saving images periodically using Text-User Interface (TUI) commands (a movie can then be created using a third party software like Windows Movie Maker) The latter method is recommended since it is more stable, flexible and would require lower hard disk space. The attached slides will take you through the steps required to save an animation for a fuel tank filling simulation.<\/p>\n
