However, certain flows require accounting for non-isotropic thermal conductivity, for example due to the presence of disperse, oriented particles at molecular level. In such situations, it is possible to mimic this effect by introducing a porous media with no drag to modify the effective thermal conductivity. The attached document describes how to setup a simulation to model air flowing through a channel with anisotropic thermal conductivity.

Attachments:
1. 2058672.zip
2. S_2058672.pdf

["post-166107","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry","topic-tag-2019-r1","topic-tag-fluent","topic-tag-fluid-dynamics","topic-tag-heat-transfer-and-radiation","topic-tag-heat-transfer","topic-tag-modeling-setup-advice
[{"0":
default
3-15-2023 20:20:43
27791
23.56.168.180
1087
2058672
2019 R1
2019-03-25T14:50:03.000Z
Fluid Dynamics
FLUENT
["GET
