UGS bought out IDEAS several years ago. IDEAS is in maintenance mode and there are no plans to ever support it with a classic ANSYS connection product nor ANSYS Workbench plugins or readers.   The workaround is to use the Parasolid export option from IDEAS. This is an optional extra-cost option to be purchased from a UGS\/IDEAS reseller.
