Now, even for materials where the solver writes out the plastic strain into the d3plot database (such as *MAT_024) one would need to request this output from the solver, this can be done by setting STRFLG=11 in the input deck for *DATABASE_EXTENT_BINARY.  The following command snippet is what one would need when running the analysis in WB LS-DYNA:  *DATABASE_EXTENT_BINARY $    neiph     neips    maxint    strflg    sigflg    epsflg    rltflg    engflg          0         0         0        11         1         1         0         0 $   cmpflg    ieverp    beamip     dcomp      shge     stssz    n3thdt   ialemat          0         0         0         0         0         0         0         0 $  nintsld   pkp_sen      sclp     hydro     msscl     therm    intout    nodout          0         0         0         0         2         0                      However, depending on the material moldel, it might be needed to post-process the plastic strain results in LS-PrePost.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-165305","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry","topic-tag-2019-r3","topic-tag-explicit-ls-dyna","topic-tag-lsdyna","topic-tag-mechanical","topic-tag-structural-mechanics","topic-tag-workbench-ls-dyna-act-ext"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_wp_page_template":["default"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["3\/15\/2023 20:20"],"_bbp_forum_id":["27789"],"_bbp_author_ip":["23.56.168.180"],"_btv_view_count":["2101"],"siebel_km_number":["2061123"],"product_version":["2019 R3"],"km_published_date":["2019-10-18T00:00:00.000Z"],"family":["Structural Mechanics"],"application_name":["Mechanical"]},"test":"articlesansys-com"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/knowledge\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/165305","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/knowledge\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/knowledge\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/knowledge\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/165305\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/knowledge\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=165305"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
