As an example there is a wall boundary condition “wall-xy” defined in the setup, but “wall-xy” does not appear in the list “Zones To Be Modified”.  This indicates that the corresponding post-processing surface has not been created. The current workaround is to define the surface from the zones with the operation     Setting up Domain > Surface > Create > Zone In the “Zone Surface” window then select the zone in the left panel and click on “Create”. Now the zone will also appear in the list of surfaces in this panel and also in the Design Tool.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-164956","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry","topic-tag-2019-r1","topic-tag-adjoint-solvers","topic-tag-fluent","topic-tag-fluent-flow-optimization","topic-tag-fluid-dynamics"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_wp_page_template":["default"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["3-15-2023  20:20:37"],"_bbp_forum_id":["27796"],"_bbp_author_ip":["23.56.168.180"],"_btv_view_count":["245"],"siebel_km_number":["2059199"],"product_version":["2019 R1"],"km_published_date":["2019-05-22T00:00:00.000Z"],"family":["Fluid Dynamics"],"application_name":["FLUENT"],"_edit_lock":["1704984830:2"]},"test":"articlesansys-com"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/knowledge\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/164956","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/knowledge\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/knowledge\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/knowledge\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/164956\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/knowledge\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=164956"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
