It is generated by CFX-Pre, and contains mesh, boundary condition, and interface information.    It does not contain any solution information, so when it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s read into CFD-Post the only variables available are mesh-related (i.e. (x,y,z) coordinates of the mesh, etc.).
