Create your line with Insert > Location > Line. Set the number of Samples to 1000 (the maximum value). Ensure the Line is as short as possible. 2. Create an Iso Clip with a greater than and less than parameter. For example if you want the line to intersect the Temperature = 298[K] Isosurface create the following parameters: -Temperature >= 297.999[K] -Temperature <= 298.001[K] 3. Go to File > Export and export the data for the Iso Clip. This will show the coordinates on the Line within the specified range. Note that this process isn’t doing any interpolation, it’s just finding the points on the Line within the given parameters. If a more accurate method is desired that does interpolation, the same process can be done in EnSight.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-164624","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry","topic-tag-4391","topic-tag-cfd-post","topic-tag-fluid-dynamics","topic-tag-general"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_wp_page_template":["default"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["3-15-2023 20:20:11"],"_bbp_forum_id":["27796"],"_bbp_author_ip":["23.56.168.180"],"_btv_view_count":["835"],"siebel_km_number":["2056396"],"product_version":["19"],"km_published_date":["2018-09-18T00:00:00.000Z"],"family":["Fluid Dynamics"],"application_name":["CFD-Post"]},"test":"articlesansys-com"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/knowledge\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/164624","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/knowledge\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/knowledge\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/knowledge\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/164624\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/knowledge\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=164624"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
