If you use algebraic Additional Variables (Boundary Only) maybe necessary to have explicitly control which values are used. In ANSYS CFX you can use operators in the CEL  Variable.Boundcon returns Hybrid Values Variable.linlin returns Conservative Values  Temperature is an extra case. On walls or CHT interfaces Temperature returns usually the hybrid values.
