While defining the boundary conditions for your problem statement, there are two different features provided in Discovery (analyze and explore) viz.\u00a0Displaced Structural Support and Displacement Boundary condition<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Displaced Structural support:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The displaced support is when you want to simulate subsidence or movement of the entire support\/foundation.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0For example,\u00a0<\/strong>Movement of the mounting point or the foundation of a system.<\/em><\/p>\n

Displacement Boundary condition:<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is the defined displacement provided on a surface\/face or when a force is applied in terms of displacement.<\/p>\n
