\nAn application example of the structural performance of the gear housing is investigated. A simple torsional load is applied to one end of the structure and the opposing end is fixed at the bolting locations. The stresses and deformations are checked in both explore and analyze mode. Whereas\u00a0a\u00a0parametric study in explore mode is also included to look at the effects of the overall length of the structure.<\/p>\n
