These are commonly found in office buildings and are sometimes used to vent air into the atmosphere. For this example, the temperature at the inlet of the transition duct is 73 degrees Fahrenheit. If air travels at 33 feet/sec at the inlet, find the velocity vectors inside the transition duct and find the pressure exerted on the transition duct from the air within.

<img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-156946" src="/knowledge/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2022/08/HG76.png" sizes="(max-width: 663px) 100vw, 663px" srcset="/knowledge/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2022/08/HG76.png 663w, /knowledge/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2022/08/HG76-300x233.png 300w, /knowledge/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2022/08/HG76-50x39.png 50w, /knowledge/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2022/08/HG76-100x78.png 100w, /knowledge/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2022/08/HG76-24x19.png 24w, /knowledge/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2022/08/HG76-36x28.png 36w, /knowledge/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2022/08/HG76-48x37.png 48w" alt=" width="663" height="514" loading="lazy" />

Geometry & Mesh

Download the file here

In this video, you will learn how to import the geometry in Discovery AIM and how to generate mesh in the computational fluid domain.

Physics Setup

In this video, you will learn how to specify fluid flow conditions.

Results Evaluation

In this video, you will learn how to evaluate velocity vectors, Total Pressure and Temperature contours in the flow domain.

["post-160116","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry","topic-tag-aim-tutorial","topic-tag-discovery-aim","topic-tag-fluids
[{"0":
default
09-13-2022 20:20:22
159552
482

["GET
