However, you can create an expression for calculating this variable.<\/p>\n<p>The following expression can be used to get the Average\u00a0Heat Transfer Coefficient (HTC) value:<\/p>\n<p><em>Average(SurfaceHeatFlux,GetSelectionSet(&#8220;@int1&#8243;),&#8221;Area&#8221;)\/(Average(Temperature, GetSelectionSet(&#8220;@int1&#8243;),&#8221;Area&#8221;) &#8211; 298*1[K])<\/em><\/p>\n<p>For this to work, it is required to first create a selection set comprising of the surfaces where HTC is to be calculated. In this example, the selection set is named as &#8220;int1&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-155488\" src=\"\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2022\/08\/OK-35-1.jpg\" alt=\" width=\"604\" height=\"412\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Non averaged results can be plotted using contour plot and using the expression &#8220;abs(SurfaceHeatFlux\/(Temperature &#8211; 273 [K]))&#8221;. You can replace 273 by the reference temperature you have. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-155489\" src=\"\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2022\/08\/OK-35-2.jpg\" alt=\" width=\"860\" height=\"293\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This can be easily exported to CSV using the option located at the top right corner of the contour panel.
