{"id":159759,"date":"2022-09-26T09:58:57","date_gmt":"2022-09-26T09:58:57","guid":{"rendered":"\/knowledge\/forums\/topic\/resolving-error-related-to-ansys-additive-prep-in-2019-r2-version\/"},"modified":"2023-08-16T06:32:57","modified_gmt":"2023-08-16T06:32:57","slug":"resolving-error-related-to-ansys-additive-prep-in-2019-r2-version","status":"publish","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/knowledge\/forums\/topic\/resolving-error-related-to-ansys-additive-prep-in-2019-r2-version\/","title":{"rendered":"Resolving error related to ANSYS Additive Prep in 2019 R2 version."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Problem<\/strong>:\u00a0\u00a0When opening Discovery SpaceClaim 2019 R2 via enterprise (floating) license, you may receive one of the following license errors:<\/p>\n<p><u>Error message1<\/u>:\u00a0If you are still running the 2019 R1 License Manager, you will see below error:<\/p>\n<p>Request name 16064 does not exist in the licensing pool.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-155310\" src=\"\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2022\/08\/hg12.jpg\" alt=\" width=\"475\" height=\"237\" \/><\/p>\n<p><u>Error message2<\/u>:\u00a0If you are still running the 2019 R2 License Manager, you will see below error:<\/p>\n<p>Capability ANSYS Additive Prep does not exist in ANSYS licensing pool.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-155311\" src=\"\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2022\/08\/hg13.jpg\" alt=\" width=\"482\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cause<\/strong>:\u00a0This error is a known issue we have seen with the 2019R2 product.\u00a0SpaceClaim will still open after clicking OK.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recommended Solution<\/strong>: If you are still using ANSYS License manager version 2019 R1, please update it to 2019 R2.
