Specify\u00a0proxy server address and its port (refer below image). As always, consult with your IT Department for assistance.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-157077\" src=\"\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2022\/08\/31.jpg\" alt=\" width=\"820\" height=\"544\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0\u00a0Install ansysls_client patch attached at the top if you are using any version prior to 2019 R1, else move to next step 3:<\/p>\n<p>a. Download ansysls_client patch if you are using any version prior to 2019 R1.<br \/>\nb. Go to &lt;Discovery Installation folder&gt;Shared FilesLicensingwinx64 .<br \/>\nc. Rename ansysls_client.exe to ansysls_client_old.exe<br \/>\nd. Copy &amp; paste the contents of downloaded patch in this location.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 \u00a0Once done, try launching Discovery product. If it doesn&#8217;t work, set below environment variable:<\/p>\n<p><strong>HTTPS_PROXY=&#8221;http:\/\/host:port&#8221; \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>where host and port are the proxy\u00a0<strong>host\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>port<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0 \u00a0Once done, try launching Discovery product.\u00a0If it doesn&#8217;t work, gather diagnostics and send to ANSYS.<br \/>\na. Open Windows Explorer.<br \/>\nb. Browse to\u00a0<strong>%temp<\/strong><strong>%<\/strong>\u00a0.<br \/>\nc.
