{"id":159572,"date":"2022-09-26T09:33:10","date_gmt":"2022-09-26T09:33:10","guid":{"rendered":"\/knowledge\/forums\/topic\/saving-importing-and-exporting-user-settings\/"},"modified":"2023-08-16T06:32:39","modified_gmt":"2023-08-16T06:32:39","slug":"saving-importing-and-exporting-user-settings","status":"publish","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/knowledge\/forums\/topic\/saving-importing-and-exporting-user-settings\/","title":{"rendered":"Saving, Importing and Exporting User Settings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The User settings in Discovery SpaceClaim and Discovery Live might require frequent alterations to cater to the modelling requirements such as change of units type or change of\u00a0drawing sheet detailing\u00a0etc.<\/p>\n<p>The below steps will guide you to export and import your user settings from different versions or different sessions of Discovery SpaceClaim\u00a0so that it is convenient and does not have to be manually changed each time.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to &#8216;SpaceClaim\/Live options&#8217;\u00a0from &#8216;File&#8217; in\u00a0Discovery SpaceClaim or Discovery Live.<\/li>\n<li>Under\u00a0&#8216;Advanced&#8217;, on the right side, you have &#8216;Export User Settings'(refer image).
