For the purpose of this demonstration, a PCB model is used with some typical Icepak primitives, heat sinks, fans, grilles, DDRs etc. The video shows different methods to create a group from a bunch of DDR objects. Editing operations such as copy, move and delete are performed on the group. Creating a group makes it easy to assign materials and define thermal specifications, meshing levels etc., to the entire group rather than spending time doing the same for individual DDRs. Similarly, a group of fans is created. This video highlights the strengths of the modeler commands in Icepak.

["post-159102","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry","topic-tag-ansys-icepak","topic-tag-ddrs","topic-tag-ecad","topic-tag-fans","topic-tag-grilles","topic-tag-heat-sinks","topic-tag-layers","topic-tag-material-properties","topic-tag-pcbs","topic-tag-thermal","topic-tag-vias
[{"0":
default
3/6/2022 20:20
153852
2551
1656919396:76714
76714
159102"],"_oembed_eb447ccbeead79dc836b272379f90fbf":[""],"_oembed_time_eb447ccbeead79dc836b272379f90fbf":["1656919194"],"_oembed_3d46d97e7793109c588cee35b96a0436":[""],"_oembed_time_3d46d97e7793109c588cee35b96a0436":["1712176607
["GET
