While reading and displaying a 3D mesh file, the following typical messages are generated: ***WARNING*** from *SKIN* No skin ! Current Topo-op is : $(8*6). ***WARNING*** from *CREATE2* No skin ! Current Topo-op is : $(8*6). This message is generated when the graphical part of POLYDATA cannot display the border line of a boundary side for a 3D mesh. This happens when a boundary side is a closed surface. Although the user might not be able to see all boundary sides, the session can be pursued normally. A possible remedy would consist of splitting these closed surfaces in order to be able to identify a border line. Still, this is not mandatory. Typical situations where it may happen: – the 3D geometry is a ball and the single boundary side is a sphere. That boundary side has no border line. – the 3D geometry is a ring and the single boundary side is a torus. That boundary side has again no border line.
