      In previous versions of ANSYS Fluent it was possible to use interpreted UDFs with Infiniband interconnect for the serial version of Fluent. Starting with ANSYS Fluent 18.2, you must compile your UDFs (user-defined functions) for the serial and parallel versions of Fluent. See also Fluent 18.2 Migration Manual.
