      To apply a heat flow in square wave form, an easier way is to create data in excel and copy it to load table in Mechanical. The jump between two peak is approximated by a very stiff slope. The second way to do this is to use Fourier expansion to approximate the square wave. Type in the expression to formulation of heat flow and it will show the approximated wave.
