FAQParticipantThe built in dynamic option in Adaption limits to a single criterion, and combining registers doesn’t work with dynamic adaption, hence the workaround is to adapt using execute commands. Please specify two execute TUI commands under Execute Commands to adapt based on desired criteria and executed them every so many time steps. For example adapt adapt-to-gradients pressure space-gradient 2 no 0.7 0.5 no 2e-05 0 0 yes adapt adapt-to-gradients pressure space-gradient 2 no 0.7 0.5 no 2e-05 0 0 yes You can put these command as Execute Commands in the Execute Commands panel and specify desired frequency of execution (e. g. every two time steps) which is exactly equivalent to the dynamic adaption option.
