FAQ
ParticipantFor interfaces between fluid-solid and fluid-fluid, there is an option to allow a Heat Transfer boundary (Adiabatic, Temperature, Heat Flux, or Heat Transfer Coefficient) to be applied on the nonoverlap regions. This can be done by specifying a Heat Transfer option in the Nonoverlap Conditions tab of the boundary definition of each side of the interface. Mass and Momentum, and Wall Roughness options can also be specified for the nonoverlap region. The “nonoverlap” region here refers to the part of the surface that is not in the “foot print” of the other side of the interface.
