The Ansys Innovation Space website recently experienced a database corruption issue. While service has been restored there appears to have been some data loss from November 13. We are still investigating and apologize for any issues our users may have as a result.

      Moving favorites/bookmarks from one release to another is not supported. That being said they are stored in a separate file under APPDATA: %APPDATA%Ansysv1xxanshelpFavorites.xml In theory, you may be able to copy the Favorites.xml file from previous release to the new release’s %APPDATA% folder. Of course it is not tested or supported. About Annotations, yes it can be carried forward. Instructions are in ANSYS Help at “help/viewer_help/vhlp_annotations.html.”
