I was hoping that stress singularity does not occur since I&#039;m using solid elements rathan than a point load, but I still have super high stress at the point of loading. I think I am using the wrong contact setting because I have pene-tra-tion between the two objects, as shown below. Could someone please advise how to model this interface correctly to avoid stress singularity?
