I Import this geometry to Ansys static structural. This way, if I changed the CAD geometry in NX, from Ansys Mechanical, I can update the geometry to reflect the new changes. This is fine.nBut, in Ansys, I set boundary conditions to the CAD geometry. This includes loads, supports, contacts between parts, … The problem is that most of these boundary conditions incorrectly change after the geometry update!!!nThis is a very serious problem to me. I have a model with many parts. Defining the boundary conditions takes a lot of time. Then, based on analysis results, I may decide to make a minor change to one CAD part. Then after updating the geometry within Ansys, I discover that most of the boundary conditions incorrectly changed, and I have to spend a considerable time revising them all before making a new analysis run!! Many times, it is even faster, and less error prone, to redefine all the boundary conditions from scratch, than revising and modifying all of them one by one!nIs there any solution to this problem?n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-52977","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_bbp_old_topic_id":["25287"],"_bbp_old_topic_author_name_id":["Anonymous"],"_bbp_old_is_topic_anonymous_id":["false"],"_bbp_old_closed_status_id":["publish"],"_bbp_author_ip":[")!??"],"_bbp_old_sticky_status_id":["normal"],"_bbp_likes_count":["0"],"_btv_view_count":["1646"],"_bbp_subscription":["33262"],"_bbp_topic_status":["unanswered"],"_bbp_status":["publish"],"_bbp_topic_id":["52977"],"_bbp_forum_id":["27791"],"_bbp_engagement":["5977","180899"],"_bbp_voice_count":["2"],"_bbp_reply_count":["1"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["145416"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["145416"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2021-03-08 16:48:31"]},"test":"ahmeddesoki"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/52977","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/52977\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=52977"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
