We now have ANSYS Academic Multiphysics Campus Solution – Research licence features. nTo accommodate this update, we’ve pushed students onto the 2020 R1 and R2 software, and described the changes required to ‘see’ these new features (e.g. PPE error for HFSS users) .nTwo subscribers running ANSYS EDT are reporting that they cannot use the same number of cores they once did when pointing to feature hfsshpc. They are now redirected to feature anshpc, I presume automatically. nI don’t believe we are restricting access to this feature. Is there an in-built licence restriction that is preventing these students from using more than a handful of cores? Base core count for electronics_desktop (ANSYS EDT) seems to be four, after which they draw upon the anshpc feature.nWe are no-where near reaching our licence limit for this feature (hundreds). There doesn’t seem to be a setting inside Electronics Desktop that determines how many anshpc features can be grabbed. Am I correct? nI understand that you can’t visualise the complexity of our licence distribution mechanisms. This request is to eliminate our ANSYS licence management software and file as throttles.nWe expect to introduce ANSYS 2021 R1 this month to our subscribers for download and use. Right now, we are using your 2020 releases to bring our subscribers up-to-date. nThank you for your consideration.Regards,nCMC Microsystems technical support staffnKingston, Ontarionn

["post-51836","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry
[{"0":
24111
Anonymous
false
publish
&\u0007???b?\u0000d\u0018>?6???
normal
0
748
unanswered
publish
51836
27796
197","3940
2
2
143557
143557
2021-02-24 11:51:37
["GET
