I&#039;ve been getting errors when compiling UDFs in Fluent, all seem to be common issues that other people have, but I haven&#039;t found a solution yet.<\/p>\n<p>The errors are detailed\/screenshotted in the attached pdf.<\/p>\n<p>My main error is the &quot;The UDF library you are trying to load (libudf) is not compiled for parallel use on the current platform (win64). The system cannot find the file specified.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Things I have tried at this point:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I have uninstalled and reinstalled ANSYS<\/li>\n<li>I have uninstalled and reinstalled VS Studio 2017<\/li>\n<li>I&#039;ve completely remade the whole project with new geometry and a new mesh and re-opened it in Fluent about 700 times in case that was the issue &#8211; it was not<\/li>\n<li>I&#039;ve added it to the path as specified here:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cfd-online.com\/Forums\/blogs\/trollreign\/2036-getting-ansys-14-fluent-windows-8-1-vs2013-compile-udfs.html\" rel=\"nofollow\">https:\/\/www.cfd-online.com\/Forums\/blogs\/trollreign\/2036-getting-ansys-14-fluent-windows-8-1-vs2013-compile-udfs.html<\/a>&nbsp;and also tried all the other solutions on that page<\/li>\n<li>I&#039;ve started Fluent through VS 2017&#039;s common tools command prompt as specified here&nbsp;<a href=\"\/forum\/discussion\/13927\/compiling-udf\" rel=\"nofollow\">\/forum\/discussion\/13927\/compiling-udf<\/a>, gives the same errors &#8211; UPDATE: since reinstalling ANSYS, this no longer works and has its own set of errors &#8211; see PDF<\/li>\n<li>I&#039;ve tried a few different UDFs, some simple example ones from online and the ones I&#039;ve written, to the same errors, so it&#039;s not an issue in the code<\/li>\n<li>I&#039;ve moved the UDFs and project files all over the shop, to their own drive (in the most recent set of errors), into the ANSYS installation folder, everywhere. Yes the UDF files are in the same directory as the .cas and .dat files<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Has anyone any idea as to what could be going wrong?
