


{"id":50973,"date":"2021-01-02T06:58:01","date_gmt":"2021-01-02T06:58:01","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/how-to-apply-a-pressure-load-which-varies-with-respect-to-radius-of-annulus-in-workbench\/"},"modified":"2021-01-02T06:58:01","modified_gmt":"2021-01-02T06:58:01","slug":"how-to-apply-a-pressure-load-which-varies-with-respect-to-radius-of-annulus-in-workbench","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/how-to-apply-a-pressure-load-which-varies-with-respect-to-radius-of-annulus-in-workbench\/","title":{"rendered":"How to apply a pressure load which varies with respect to radius of annulus in workbench?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"Item-Body\">\n<div class=\"Message userContent\">\n<p><strong>Background description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hi, everyone, I am conducting a FEA simulation on the slipper of piston pump, the bottom surface of this component consists of three annuli, shown in <strong>Figure 1<\/strong>, surface 2 is the surface that I want to apply a pressure type load which conforms function p=ln(r2\/r) just like what is shown in <strong>Figure 3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>Figure 2<\/strong>,<\/p>\n<p>r2 is outer radius of surface 2, <\/p>\n<p>r1 is inner radius of surface 2<\/p>\n<p>and r1&lt;r&lt;r2<\/p>\n<p><strong>Questions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(1) How to realize this load variation on surface 2, I heard that it can be realized by APDL, but this is relatively complicated, so, is there any other simple way to realize this, or the only way to reach the goal is whereby APDL?<\/p>\n<p>(2) If this process must be finished in APDL, any particular book, paper or some relevant reference can be introduced to me?<\/p>\n<p>(3) The simulation is now conducted in module of &ldquo;static structural&rdquo;(shown in <strong>Figure 4<\/strong>), is this right?
