The goal is to predict the wall temperature profile. With non-isothermal flow passing through the porous media, there is heat transfer between the porous media and the wall.n nnBecause of the presence of porous media, the heat transfer between the fluid and the wall will be augmented. nAt the interface, is the thermal boundary condition write as CAF*Kf_eff*dTf/dn=Kw*dTw/dn ? n(CAF is the convective augmentation factor, Kf_eff is the effective conductivity of fluid phase in porous media, Tf is the fluid phase temperature, Kw is the wall thermal conductivity, Tw is the wall temperature)nIs it appropriate to use CAF in this situation ? nIs there any study use the convective augmentation factor to predict the temperature profile of the bounding wall? n(I didn’t find any study doing that, only several try to characterize the value of CAF.)n nThanks a lot for your help!n

["post-47939","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry","topic-tag-ansys-fluent","topic-tag-fluid-flow","topic-tag-heat-transfer","topic-tag-transient
[{"0":
20149
Anonymous
false
closed
?v\u000e\u0016
normal
publish
0","0","0","0","0
506
252140
unanswered
47939
27792
25","178002
2
1
127040
127040
2020-09-14 11:16:03
["GET
